TOFG FAQ

Who May Attend?

The Time Out for Girls event is designed for girls ages 12-17. Registrations for this event are sold separately from TOFW registrations. Seating priority is given to girls. If an adult would like to attend, they must register for the TOFW event and then IF space allows the day of the event, they are welcome to join the TOFG event.

Will my child be supervised and safe during TOFG?

Girls registered for TOFG must have an adult onsite, preferably attending TOFW, who is responsible for them in case of an emergency. This adult will be responsible for her girl/girls throughout the duration of the 2-day event. During registration, the onsite adult who will be responsible for the attendee, along with mobile phone number, must be listed. At the event, attendees will be required to wear a wristband with their name written on it at all times. Time Out for Girls staff is limited, but the event room and lobby will be monitored with adult supervision during scheduled event times to ensure safety and locality of TOFG attendees. TOFG attendees will not be allowed to leave the event area or building without an adult. TOFW/TOFG is not responsible for accident or injury as a result of misbehavior or misconduct by TOFG attendees and staff will not be responsible once a girl leaves the TOFG room/lobby. The TOFW breaks are timed to release 5 minutes prior to the TOFG breaks, giving time for parents or leaders to meet their girls when the event breaks. Break times will be included in the TOFW program.

Will I be able to schedule lunch with my daughter?

Time Out for Girls will be on the same schedule as TOFW, including breaks and lunch. The TOFW breaks are timed to release 5 minutes prior to the TOFG breaks, giving time for parents or leaders to meet their girls when the event breaks. Break times will be included in the TOFWprogram.

What is the dress code?

Nice, casual attire is appropriate. TOFG is an event, not a typical conference; Sunday dress is not expected or necessary.

Can I bring food? What about lunch?

No outside food will be allowed in the venue. There will be an 80-minute lunch break on Saturday. We recommend you and your group make plans in advance for this lunch break. For more information about on-site lunch options, please visit website 2-3 weeks prior to the event.

Who do I contact with a Special Needs Request?

If you or a member of your group requires special arrangements for ASL, hearing or visual impairments, or other needs, all requests must be made via our website at http://tofw.com/events/special_needs no later than TWO WEEKS PRIOR to the event. TOFG will make every effort to accommodate timely requests according to our special needs policies.

THERE ARE NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES ON TOFGREGISTRATIONS
